santi, maddie, mike (santi's cousin), anton (santi's pal friend) and i went to clark, pampanga. santi had to meet someone at sm pampanga so we had lunch there. then we went to clark to meet louie (another pal friend). we also checked out the place since santi will be there by february. it's super different now. there's an sm right outside the clark gate and omni (where the barracks are located) looks very different since the last time i went there in 2002? or 2003? we were gone the whole day. think we left before 10am then we got home around 9:30pm. just in time too cause i had to get ready for a night out with the other wives of batac (drago's margot, jayson's ten, bernard's margot and bong's kaye). =P i told them we'd leave at 10pm. we left around 10:30pm then got stuck in traffic along sucat. by the time we got to the fort, it was 11:55pm. =P just in time for the guest list. Ü we had fun. we went to ascend then to texas roadhouse, back to ascend then to piedra. got home around 4am. was supposed to pass by the office since the team manager had food served for breakfast, but i had to drop off people so i got too lazy to drive to the office. =P i'll post pics as soon as i get them. =P i didn't bring a camera.

christmas shopping day. santi and i went to sm and bought a couple of things. we needed material for mick's uniform pants. he only has one pair left (not sure what happened to the other pair) so we had to have 2 more made. we needed to buy material for the pants and for his uniform shirts, but they didn't have material for the shirts. we also bought mick's christmas present while we were at sm. took santi forever to decide which model to get mick. =P then, before i went to work, i passed by town center and bought the rest of the gifts. Ü i only needed a few more since i bought most of it at the bazaar.

tita tess, tito edward, chucky and gemboy arrived from bacolod in the morning. i ate bacolod chicken the whole day. =P thanks tita tess! Ü before going to work, i had to pick up stuff at drago and margot's bakery. we were having a christmas party at work, so i offered to bring pandesal. i also bought a couple boxes of baked goods for friends. we dropped off a few presents for friends before i went to work. my last day before christmas break. Ü i start work again on january 4. Ü

we all went to 9:30pm mass. as in all of santi's family and us minus mick. he fell asleep by 8pm, so we left him at home. santi wanted to go to mass the next day, but maddie was dressed and ready to leave. =P as soon as we got home from mass, we opened all the presents. Ü a little after midnight, melo, raymond, maddie and i went driving around looking for a place to eat. they don't really celebrate christmas eve at the house, so there wasn't a noche buena thing. i knew i should've bought stuf to make tacos for christmas eve. oh well...we ended up at sinangag express...one of 3 places that were open. =P we were supposed to buy one roasted chicken, but it would've taken an hour. =P by the time we got to sinangag express, maddie was sleeping. Ü

we chatted with my parents and sisters. we used the webcam so they were able to see maddie dance. =P we miss you guys! maddie keeps on saying how she wants to go back to the states. =0( we bummed around the house til the turkey arrived. yes...we had turkey care of tita tess. santi and i went to the grocery store with maddie to buy taco stuff. =P i cooked taco for lunch. after, maddie and i went with the galon family, krissy and melo to enchanted kingdom. when we got there, the lines were SUPER long. we stayed for about 20 minutes then went to mall of asia. we had dinner at friday's then passed by lush before going home. Ü maddie was pretty good during the entire trip. she slept a lot in the car. she was in a bratty mood when we got to moa, but as soon as she ate chicken strips, she was fine. Ü

santi and maddie slept in, so mick and i went with the galon brothers (minus jag) and melo to shakey's for breakfast. Ü then we went to buy dvds. Ü around 6pm, i went to town center to buy 2 wedding presents and a few more christmas gifts. =P by the time i got home at 8pm, everyone had dinner already. =P good thing there was lotsa food left for me. Ü

today
santi and i went to a wedding around 4:45pm. the wedding was supposed to start around 4:30pm, but it was delayed. =P we got there just in time. i had to proxy for my mom, so i had to read the first reading. i wasn't prepared at all. =P think i read too fast and i didn't look at the audience at all. =P oh well. the place was super nice and the food was good. santi and i enjoyed. i loved the wedding dance. they did it like the youtube ones. it was really good. Ü it had vanilla ice, macarena, the chicken song, something from michael jackson and a lot more. Ü it was cute!



anyways, guess i'll go to bed now. tomorrow i gotta clean. wanna clean the room before the 31st. we're planning to go to martin and cris' place for new year's eve. Ü can't wait. hopefully derek is there so i can take a pic with him. =P

we went to market market since it was luis' birthday party at lazerxtreme. we were supposed to drop off mick, but we ended up staying til 9pm i thnk. santi, maddie and i played 2 rounds. =P the first round, maddie was with me. my score was probably the lowest. the 2nd time we played, maddie was with santi. i remember bumping into them while we were playing. maddie was running ahead of him and he was following her around. =P mick had fun. we let him sleep over luis' house.

the pacquiao-de la hoya fight. sky cable wasn't offering the fight so we didn't know how we'd be able to watch. we were planning to eat somewhere like friday's or something, but i didn't feel like spending. we ended up streaming the fight online. i hooked up my laptop to the big screen so we all watched in mama and tatay's room. jill, gail and i were supposed to leave for the karl edward's bazaar after the 1st round. we left after the 8th when pacquiao won. =P when we got to the fort, it was still a bit dead. but after 30-40 minutes, people started lining up for parking. gail was able to finish her christmas shopping at the bazaar. i wasn't able to find anything. =P i ended up buying something at the crocs store on bonifacio high street. jill, gary and i left gail at the bazaar while we picked up mick at tomas morato. we ate taco bell before heading back to the bazaar. Ü as soon as we got home around 5-5:30pm, i took a bath and got ready for work.

got my 13th month pay. Ü first thing i did was get a manicure and footspa/pedicure at tips 'n toes. then i went to lay bare to get my legs waxed. Ü santi, melo and i went to the batac boys christmas party for dinner. santi and i got home around 4am. Ü

iti christmas party at the bmw showroom at libis. Ü i woke up a bit early so we went to atc with tatay, mama, jill, melo, drago, margot and baby julia. mick stayed home and santi had his scooter painted. we had cold rock ice-cream. it's like cold stone, but i didn't find it that good. =P then maddie and i had lunch at mexicali with jill, julia, margot and drago. i bought a pair of strappy heels for the company party then we looked around rustan's before going home. Ü santi and i went to northgate around 6:45pm so we could ride the 7pm shuttle. we ended up having dinner then we left around 7:30pm. got at libis at 8pm. =P as soon as we got there, mommy lola's drive was waiting for us. we went to mommy lola's house to set up her magicjack. by the time we got back to the party, it was 10pm. we stayed til 12:15am. =P it was a bit boring. santi and i weren't interested in the open bar since we drank the night before. =P but i regretted not eating before we left. i was hungry by the time we got home.

mdm's christmas musical at insular life. mick had to be there by 9am so maddie was antsy before the show began. she kept on asking if it was mick's turn. =P then she started saying she wanted to go home. Ü by the time mick performed, she was asleep and she didn't wanna wake up. we ate lunch at tia maria at festival after the show. then we walked around a bit. i hate the malls on the weekends. too many people. we went home by 4pm i think. i took a nap then got ready for work.

mick didn't have to go to school til 1pm. it was his christmas party. santi, margot and i dropped him off before going to the world trade center. maddie stayed home since i didn't feel like taking her to the bazaar. all i know is that i wanna go every year to the same bazaar. =P i bought half of the stuff we needed for christmas. Ü we got there around 1pm and left around 4pm. Ü wish we could've stayed longer, but it started to get crowded and we didn't wanna get stuck in traffic.

hmm...i watched a transporter 3 dvd. =P santi was getting his scooter fixed so the kids and i just stayed at home and bummed around.

think i'll leave early for work today so i can stop by the mall to get more christmas stuff. Ü

she's been gaining weight i think. =P i can't carry her that long. my arms start to get sore. Ü she's still the same feisty diva. oh...and about the school situation, she doesn't wanna go yet. =P fine with me since her tuition would be more than mick's tuition and her class is only 3 hours a day. =P she's very persistent. when i say no to her, she says, "stop saying no. say yes!". i have a feeling she'd do really well in sales or something. =P she's very creative. she still loves to draw, paint and cut. she plays blues clues on the pc a lot. she knows how to kinda write her name. she still has problems with some of the letters, but she knows how to write most of the ones in maddie. Ü she's starting to eat more. but as usual, it has to be stuff she likes. she drinks chocolate and strawberry flavored milk. she can take a bath all by herself. oh fine...i help shampoo her hair, but that's all. =P she looooves to work with puzzles. gotta get her harder ones now. Ü she loves to go swimming and play in the sand. she loves to write all over her legs, arms and hands. she calls them tatoos. =P

no new pics either. i haven't taken any since my last post. =P we've been bumming around at home. we watched bolt on saturday, 29 november 2008. there were lotsa people at the mall! it was crazy. then santi and i watched twilight on monday, 30 november 2008. it was a holiday, so the kids stayed at home with santi's parents. Ü oh...the biggest news from last week was received on friday, 28 november 2008. santi's starting pal again! think he starts mid-january. think he'll be at clark by february. just when we were thinking of moving into the condo by january. oh well. back to the drawing board. =P i'll try to take pics of the kids soon. still gotta write our christmas list so we can start shopping. i wanna get it over with by next week. too many people at the mall and lotsa traffic everywhere. *sigh* ahhhh...christmas in the philippines. =P

guess i got used to doing a weekly update. =P i'll try to post something everyday. don't know why i'm so lazy now. =P oh...i'm posting from work now. forgot the pics. it would've been so easy and fast to upload at work. Ü oh well. guess i'll upload the pics when i get home. =P

maddie and i picked up mick from school since santi went to makati with a friend. then i took them to town center. the kids ate pizza while i had mexicali. Ü they were very behaved. usually, when the two are in the same room, they fight like cats and dogs. =P but they were very good when we were out. mick didn't bother his sister at all and she didn't whine. =P

went to festi for my new look. it took 3 hours or something. my appointment was at 1pm, but i left the house a little earlier cause i had to drop off money to mick. Ü i took a bath and washed my hair before i left which was a bad idea. they washed my hair 3 times while i was getting a digiperm. they washed it when i got there, dried it then applied some kinda solution. then i had to sit under the hair drier for 20-30 minutes i think. after, they washed my hair again then they put curlers on. they dipped the curls into some kinda solution then stuck rods into my hair and hooked me up to some octopus hair thingy. =P had to wait another 20-30 minutes or so before they took out the curlers and washed my hair. Ü then the hair stylist blow dried my hair and styled the curls. i couldn't really see how my hair looked cause i didn't have my glasses on. but i didn't really like what i saw. =P i thought my hair was too curly. i still think it is. =P

went to a friend's house for dinner since it was his birthday. then santi and i went to the fort since he had to meet his pal classmates. it's their anniversary. it was an all guy thing, but i tagged along since i was planning to meet my friend, ness. we were at pier 1 til closing which was 2:30am. crazy how they have a curfew. i didn't feel like going home yet so i joined santi and his friends at piedra. ness and his friends were planning to drink more in makati, but we ended up staying at piedra til 4:15am. we got home at almost 5am. =P


today
slept til noon or something. =P i was a bit wasted so i wasn't feeling that great. guess it was the stupid tequila. =P thanks anton for the drinks and advanced happy birthday! Ü

gotta get ready for church now so i'll post an update when i get home or tomorrow. we're still going out tonight so i guess i'll do my weekly update tomorrow. =P wanted to share my new look first. Ü went to festival mall yesterday to get a digital perm. i was thinking of chopping off my hair, but i thought i'd try curls first. i can always cut it when i get tired of the curls. =P well...i'm not really digging my hair. =P i think i'll give it a month or so before i cut it. or who knows...maybe when it's not as curly, i'll end up liking it more. i'll write more about it tomorrow.

since we didn't watch quantum of solace the night before, we were supposed to watch...but we didn't. =P mick and i were ready to go, but santi didn't feel like it. so we ate dinner at miggy's (a mexican restaurant) then went to ruins and bought dvds. i got stepbrothers, the sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 and burn after reading. out of the 3, i thought sisterhood was ok. =P

we went grocery shopping at makro. while we were there, i found out that the phone i got santi was P700 cheaper. =0( oh well. wish they had price matching here. got home around 5pm then went to work around 7:15pm. didn't have that many learners so i watched 4 shows...supernatural, grey's, ugly betty and samantha who. Ü i love sundays at work.

i didn't have work since it was a french holiday. Ü the company follows french holidays. Ü so we went to the grocery around noon and i cooked tacos for lunch. Ü slept early which totally messed up my body clock. =P

santi had to do pal stuff so maddie and i stayed home the whole day. Ü woke up a bit early since i slept early so i tried taking a nap in the afternoon. was only able to sleep for an hour. by the time maddie and i woke up from our nap, santi was home with mick. =P

santi, maddie and i went to festival mall around 1:30pm i think. we walked around a bit then had lunch at don henrico's. i also found a place to get my hair either cut or permed. i think i'll get it digitally permed next week so by the time i get sick of the curls, i can chop it off. =P it's supposed to last 8 months or so. when i got to work, i wasn't feeling so great. then i started to get super cold. think i had a slight fever at work. as soon as i got home, i went straight to sleep.

wasn't feeling so great. i wasn't hungry at all, my stomach was feeling weird, my head was hurting a little and my legs were aching. the only time i felt ok was if i was sitting or laying down. tried to rest as much as possible and took some biogesic. by the time santi's friends picked us up for dinner (and by us i mean me and santi. =P we haven't had couple time in a while. =P), i was feeling better. we ate at texas roadhouse grill on bonifacio high street in the fort. food was good. looooved the salad! it had candied walnuts in it. gotta find out where i can buy candied walnuts here. it also had grapes and mangos. i loved it! i split a steak dish with santi since he had dinner before we left and i still wasn't feeling that great, so i didn't wanna eat too much. thanks mat and mickey for dinner and thanks ten and jayson for starbucks! Ü


oh yeah! maddie cut her own hair! i was using the pc and she was cutting up paper. she moved to the stairs and when santi got to the bottom he called me. when i looked on the floor, there were four batches of hair. good thing she cut the top layer. you can't really tell she cut it. =P i had to hold up sections of hair to find out where she cut. =P i wanted to bring her to the salon to get her hair cut short, but she didn't want to. so when i asked her why she cut her hair she answered "cause i want to". =P weird. oh well. it was cute watching maddie and santi though. she was trying to help him with his scooter. =P then, before we left, she fell asleep on the couch with him. i love it when that happens. Ü



today
we went to the bazaar in ayala alabang around 4pm. i got maddie two dresses and a pair of shoes. =P she wanted to wear it as soon as we bought it, but she ended up changing at baby julia's house. Ü thanks margot for going with us. Ü we need to go again without santi and maddie. =P i wasn't able to really look. =P we went to baby julia's house after so maddie could play. julia didn't go with us to the bazaar. so as soon as we entered the house, maddie changed her clothes then made a mess in julia's room. =P thanks margot for having us over and sorry for the mess. =P maddie was funny. she was pretending to read one minute. then the next she was trying to teach baby julia. =P they were sitting at the table and maddie opened up the abc book. Ü she pointed at the apple and asked julia what it was. she sat there pointing for a 10-15 seconds and when julia didn't answer she said "ok, fine" then stood up and did something else. =P she's nuts! hahaha.

we finally went to the cardio today. maddie's cardio appointment in the u.s. was supposed to be on october 8. oh well...better late than never. =P we ended up at san juan de dios again since santi had to go to the ato. i'm not used to the way things are here. i hate waiting. we got there at 11am and didn't leave til 2:45pm. the doctor checked maddie's weight, blood pressure and heartbeat then told us to wait at the 2d echo room. we got to the room around 12:15pm. the sign on the door said they don't open til 1pm since their lunch break is from 12-1pm. so more waiting. maddie didn't get her echo done til 2pm. santi left us around 1pm to drop off something at the ato. by the time he got back, we were waiting in line to pay the cashier. how i miss the u.s. Ü


the cardio said maddie's echo looks highly satisfactory. her right side is still a bit bigger than the left, but it's probably taking a little longer than usual to decrease in size. she said it's nothing to worry about. the patched area isn't leaking. it's perfect. Ü we're supposed to see her again in 6 months to get an ekg. she usually recommends getting an ekg every year and monitoring her condition from there. if i'm still worried about the right side, she can get another 2d echo. maddie did great during the echo. most of the kids before her were crying and screaming. =P the cardio said she should've let maddie go first so the other kids could've watched her. she was behaved the whole time except for her whining when she was hungry or thirsty. =P after the echo, she was looking for stickers. =P i totally forgot about that part. Ü at the u.s., after every cardio visit, they let the kids pick out a sticker from a chest. Ü oh...think maddie's been gaining a pound a month. hopefully she'll gain more when i start cooking tacos more often. =P

we were supposed to watch quantum of solace with mick earlier, but we were super tired. i only got 3 hours of sleep or something.

wooohooooo! i regret not voting this year. if i did, i would've voted for obama. the u.s. needs a change.

well...mick went to school today. he's not home yet. hope his day went well. his face has been peeling ever since halloween. yesterday, we went to the bank then to the grocery store. i bought chips for work, but maddie ended up eating it all. =P i was so busy at work that i wasn't able to buy food during my breaks. i had 12 learners...4 in a row at the beginning of my shift then 3 in row towards the end. i ended up eating my peanut butter sandwich while i was talking to the learners. =P hopefully no one schedules lessons anymore today. i have 9 learners. supposed to be 10, but one cancelled. =P

miss sweet and spicy. Ü she can be soooooo stubborn sometimes and sooooo silly the next. she has her brother's sense of humor. =P she likes to joke around. she loves to trace things on paper. whenever we're out running errands or if she's bored in the car, she makes me draw shapes, letters or pictures she can trace. she knows how to draw a perfect circle and color in the lines. Ü thanks margot for reminding me. =P i think she started doing that a month or two ago, but i didn't think of it as a milestone. =P she still loves to color and draw. oh yeah...she likes to use scissors as well. she started using scissors a long time ago actually. think i got her a pair of scissors when she was 2. at first, she would cut a little piece of the paper then rip the rest. =P but now, she can cut from one end to the other. Ü she tries to cut patterns. Ü she loves using the pc. she loves flash games, cake mania and fashion runway. =P i let her pick out her own clothes most of the time. =P she knows what matches and what doesn't. =P oh...i think she's starting to become a daddy's girl. Ü i love watching the two of them together. she still prefers me most of the time, but she's comfortable with her dad now. Ü

the house was super quiet since mick stayed at martin and cris' house. don't think we did anything special. i think we wentto atc, but i don't remember. =P mick went swimming at celebrity sports club with luis and luis' friends. i'm glad he got to spend time with his cousins in qc.

don't remember what we did. =P i remember mick went camping at caliraya the night before then went jet-skiing as soon as he woke up. they got back to qc around 9pm i think. he got super dark and even got a sun burn!

halloween! we had to go to qc to pick up mick. found out he misplaced his phone. he thinks it's somewhere in the house. =0( oh well. before we went, we stopped by the ato cause santi had to talk to someone. maddie started whining by the time we got to the makati area, so we stopped by gateway mall in cubao to eat at taco bell. i ordered two mexican pizzas, three chalupas and nachos supreme. Ü it was great! Ü of course the two kids ate the mexican pizzas. Ü we picked up mick then headed straight home. we got home at 4pm exactly. the village starts trick or treating at 4pm. my friend gail and her daughter, tala, got to the house 5 minutes after we arrived. Ü the kids had fun trick or treating. they got lots of candy. Ü we were supposed to go to atc to take some family portraits, but we were all too tired. maddie didn't want to leave the house. =P i was thinking of going to ayala alabang village to go trick or treating again, but we stayed at home. Ü

we went to atc around 12:25pm and watched high school musical 3. mick and maddie loved the movie. i liked it too. santi thought it was too noisey. =P he thought they sang too much. =P before going home, we bought ingredients for tacos. =P i cooked tacos for everyone before going to work. it was the first time i had 13 learners and no one no showed. Ü

today
i thought mick had school today, but it turns out his vacation lasts til november 5. he got ready, went to school then found out there was no class. =P i left for work around 6pm since i wanted to stop by the mall first to get santi's anniversary present. i wanted to get him a dual sim phone since he carries around 3 phones...two for business. went to festival mall, bought his phone then tried to find the supplies mick needed for school. no luck finding the stuff he needed, so i went to work. =P plus...i had to get someone a new phone since mick lost his. might as well get santi a new one then give santi's old one to mick. =P

9 years married...11 total including our bf/gf stage. geez...that's looong. =P happy anniversary, sweetie!


around 12:30pm, we went to a reflexology place for a 2 hour massage. Ü then we ran a couple errands before going home. we got ready for martin and cris' annual halloween party around 5pm then left the house a little before 7pm. the car was coding, so we couldn't leave earlier. =P we got there around 8:15pm. we got there in time for the games. mick had so much fun. too bad it was raining though. maddie already caught a cold yesterday and started coughing today. guess it's the weather. anyways, the haunted house was great! they hired lots of people to scare everyone. =P maddie didn't want to go inside, so she stayed with mickey. thanks mat and mickey for joining us tonight! let's go again next year! Ü mick ended up staying at martin's house. =P thanks martin and cris for inviting us to the party and thanks for letting mick sleep over! Ü we had a blast! too bad i wasn't able to take a picture with derek though. =P i forgot to take home some food too. =P





yesterday, santi, maddie and i went to town center. we had lunch there and did a little shopping. we were supposed to watch high school musical 3, but mick wanted to stay home. we got home around 6pm. perfect timing since i had to leave for work around 7:20pm. Ü
