thanks to christine, i have eyebrows again! Ü the last time i had eyebrows was in august (my last threading before i left the philippines). Ü hopefully i can maintain this look. if not, i'm definitely going back to brow bar! i'm also really tempted to buy anastasia's five item brow kit. =P

we went to the mall yesterday for a few hours. i got my eyebrows waxed at the macy's benefit brow bar. Ü it was ces' christmas present. Ü i loooove my brows now. it's like i actually have brows all the way to the end. i'll post a before and after pic tomorrow. =P anyways, the kids and i went on a shoe splurge. i got mick a pair of heelys, maddie 2 pairs of stride rites and i got a pair of marc fisher boots. i needed brown boots badly since i usually borrow a pair from camille or ces. =P the ones i got are suuuuuper comfy! as for mick's, he's been wanting a pair of roller shoes. i told him that it would be an advanced birthday present from me and santi (his pair alone cost almost the same amount as mine and maddie's).


dinner was goooood! i had the macadamia nut crusted halibut (recommended by camille). mmmmmmmm! we were all there including narciso, nick, cheche, frances, adriana and alex. Ü


as for today, we passed by christmas tree lane and christmas in the park. christmas tree lane was disappointing. not as many lights and decorations as before. don't know if it's because it's after christmas or what. maddie looked out the window at a few houses then fell asleep. =P since the kids and i were dressed in pjs, we couldn't go down when we passed by christmas in the park. =0( maybe we'll go for a stroll tomorrow night or something. Ü

it's my dad's birthday today. Ü and narciso's too! we're eating dinner at claim jumper tonight. i'll update with pictures later or tomorrow. Ü

we just got home from delivering christmas gifts to the kids on my dad's side. we had fun at each and every house. thanks:

thank you to everyone for all the presents. Ü we were supposed to drop off gifts yesterday, but it was raining. the weather yesterday reminded me of the typhoons in the philippines...raining with gusts of wind that was warm. and today's weather was just as bad. this morning, the wind was really strong. so strong that a person died when a tree fell on his house. my mom didn't want us in the computer room cause there's a big tree right outside. good thing the wind died down a bit this afternoon.

we still have lotsa presents to drop off (and pick up =P), yet maddie still managed to get enough toys to clutter the computer room. our 3 day event starting december 23rd was memorable since it's maddie's first christmas here in the u.s., mick's 1st christmas here since 2002 and my 1st since either 1998 or 2000 (too long ago to remember =P). this year, we missed out on two of our holiday traditions - christmas in the park in downtown and christmas tree lane in palo alto.

on december 23, we decorated a christmas tree. i wasn't expecting a christmas tree since we usually put one up waaaay before christmas. but since mick requested a tree, my dad got one. =P maddie had fun trying to help. she'd get an ornament, place it on the tree branch, then clap her hands. Ü since the ornaments she put on the tree weren't hung by the ornament hooks or loops, whenever someone passed by, an ornament would fall and break into pieces. =P oh fine...it happened once while i was walking by. think one fell when my mom passed by too, but it didn't break. Ü

christmas eve is usually at home. we went to the 6pm mass which i loooooved. i think we should make that a tradition from now on. i loved the way the mass was held. the whole church was dark except for the 80-100 or so candles. then, when the priest got to the homily part, he asked for all the children to sit around him in the front of the church. it was as if he was telling a story to them. after, each child received a dove ornament made outta yarn. Ü i think that was one of the best masses i've been to ever! Ü anyways, many christmas' ago (like the last time i was here), my mom's brother and his family would come over. this year though, it was just us and narciso and nick. Ü mick looooved his presents since most of them were games (2 ps2 games and an ani-movie hook up for the tv to be exact). he was soooo not expecting the present from me and santi. =P thanks camille for picking it up! Ü as for maddie, she got lotsa toys. good thing i got her a pair of nike's and my mom got her an outfit (which she ended up wearing on christmas). thanks sweetie for my gift! i really needed it. Ü maddie and i slept around 12:30am and mick was up playing with his ps2 game til almost 2am.

as for christmas day, we went to my mom's friend, cheche's, house. after a few hours, we went to san mateo to meet dennis and mark. my mom had to send tita baby's louis vuitton shoes to her and i had to send santi's laptop part, a book and a christmas card. Ü the only thing missing this holiday season was santi. =0( we miss you sweetie!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! gotta go...i'll try to update later tonight or tomorrow morning. Ü

just wanted to say happy 28th to my parents. Ü they just got back from watching casino royale with mick, ces and narciso. Ü


anyways, we went christmas shopping earlier. waaaay too many people! good thing maddie fell asleep while i was buying stuff. she woke up when we got to the car to go home. Ü

we got to my mom's office around 2pm (the kids and i got ready after my soap, all my children =P). the food was gooooood! i ate and ate and ate til i was soooo full. =P after, ces, the kids and i went to target to pick up a few things. talk about chaos! maddie was whining cause i kept on carrying her. there were too many carts going every which way so i didn't want her walking around. we ended up going home 2 hours later. =P gotta wake up early and go to safeway to get some milk and snacks. i might pass by the mall too (depends on how lazy i feel). =P

we were bums again today. we folded last weeks clean laundry and i did a load of whites. how exciting, huh?!?!? =P tomorrow, we're supposed to go to my mom's office for their christmas party. i totally thought tomorrow was only thursday...didn't know that today is thursday. =P no school = no sense of time. mick's schedule is my watch...my calendar. =P

it's sooooo hard to get outta bed in the morning. =0( i never liked cold weather. anyways, we didn't do anything today. i was too addicted to downloading stuff on limewire. Ü but we did go out yesterday. we returned my library books then went straight to fry's electronics. i looooove fry's! Ü there's a section for everyone in the family. =P maddie enjoyed the toys section, mick played ps2, psp, nintendo ds (whatever was available) and i was lost in software, dvds, computer hardware...pretty much all the sections! =P since maddie didn't wanna leave the toys section, i tested her. i would disappear around the corner and watch what she'd do. to my surprise, she continued playing. she didn't care if i left her there! =P when we got home, maddie and mick played soccer in the driveway. too bad my camera ran outta battery while taking a video clip. =0(

it's starting to get cold again...as in freezing cold! it gets down to the lower 30's at night and some places even hit the low 20s. the freezing point of water is 0°C or 32°F. i don't wanna get outta bed in the morning cause it's just tooooo cold (our heater doesn't work). anyways, think we'll go to the library today and pick up an audio cable for the other monitor. i was supposed to do that yesterday, but i got too lazy. =P

look at my baby! Ü he was soooo young then! time flies waaaay too fast! =0(

the wedding was nice. congrats bev and daniel! Ü i looooved the white hummer limo. =P maddie was pretty good. we were in the van most of the time cause my dress wasn't nursing friendly. she nursed a lot and slept a lot as well. good for me cause i was able to eat in peace. =P


maddie's lower molar finally cut her gums on friday. she's been sleeping a lot better since then. so now, you can see the tips of both lower molars. one of the uppers will be out soon also. hopefully she doesn't lose any sleep over it. Ü

oh...we baked some chocolate chip cookies today. Ü gonna make cupcakes soon. if they turn out good, i'll bake a batch for mick's class for his birthday next month.

maddie and i just got home from simbang gabi at mick's school. mick was with my mom at a wedding rehearsal. Ü and...it was the first...no second...time i nursed in public (the airplane doesn't really count since you can't really tell). first was in the airport waiting lounge. Ü tonight, we stayed in the crying room with around 15 other people. i didn't feel like going to the car and missing part of the mass just to feed her, so i nursed her under the ringsling. =P

i thought that this would be the first time i'd get to complete simbang gabi. when i got home though, i realized that tomorrow's my cousin's wedding. it's either i try to find a church that has simbang gabi that's near the reception place or i skip the reception and go straight home after the church wedding. grrrr! *sigh* we'll see what happens tomorrow.

oh yeah...i baked some crescents (kinda like croissants) earlier. i'll post pics tomorrow. i also opened up the dell cpu. it looks soooo organized in there. took a pic of that too. =P

maddie met her dad for the first time last december. i remember when mick met santi for the first time. he was 9½ months and past the baby stage. i remember how i tried to stop him from taking his first steps before we saw santi, but he took them a few days before we left for the philippines. =P *sigh* how time flies! these pictures were taken around the same time last year. we ♥ and miss you sweetie!

last night was the worst night ever! maddie woke up every hour or something. i thought it was around 5am when i checked my phone, but it was only 3am. =0( her molars are driving her...and me...crazy! anyways, since mick's half day every wednesday, i made an appointment yesterday for them to take portrait pics today. Ü maddie was ok until she had to pose for the camera. =0( my lil' diva strikes again! =0( the pictures came out ok considering she wasn't in the mood. after an hour and a half of trying to get her to smile, we went to take more pics with santa. Ü bad idea. =P she cried...as in the type of cry that turns her face red and you don't hear a sound from her cause she doesn't breath for a minute or something. =0( my poor baby. i ended up getting the picture anyways for memories sake. =P

=P i've been soooo blog/internet/computer deprived that i'm typing my 3rd post for today. Ü i remember doing something like this before...anyways, here ya go chie:

think i ate too much of my dad's sisig. =0( anyways, for a couple of weeks now, maddie hasn't been sleeping well at night. then i noticed a few days ago that her gums were white...and just right now, i noticed that three molars are about to come out (two on the bottom, one on the top). her left bottom molar is already sticking out a bit. no wonder she's been acting weird. Ü as for mick, he forgot his backpack at school. we were talking to my cousins in the parking lot and i guess he forgot it there. we noticed that it was missing when we got home. =P my dad went with him to pick it up. Ü i'm helping him find a science project that's due next month, but he has to submit his topic this friday. =P any suggestions??? he's in second grade and it could even be a rock or shell collection. Ü too bad he doesn't have any of those. =P

i added a song from barney in the tahoe/reno clip. =P ok...gotta go tidy up the rooms and fold the laundry from yesterday. Ü

yesterday we went to lake tahoe and reno. we, mick and i, slept around 12:30am, woke up around 6am and got home 12:30am last night...technically, 12:30am this morning. then we had to wake up at 7am to get ready for school. after dropping off mick, i took a shower and got maddie ready for her pedia appointment at 9:30am. i couldn't find my keys and her yellow immunization card, so i called and asked if we could come in at 10am instead. =P poor baby got 4 shots today. she looked worried when we pinned her down and started to cry after the first shot. as soon as i picked her up after her fourth shot, she stopped crying immediately. Ü whatta baby! =P when we got home from the pedia, i had to tidy the room, fold the clothes that were clean since last week and wash two loads of laundry. by the time i was done, i had to pick up mick from school. Ü btw, maddie's only 18 pounds, 7 ounces and 30½ inches long. she's been stuck on 18 pounds for a while. at least she's starting to eat more now so the pedia's not worried. Ü

anyways, back to the tahoe/reno trip. on the way there and on the way home, it snowed. since we had a van, we had to put chains on the tires. since we didn't feel like paying someone $30 to put them on, my dad and i tried to do it ourselves. we were able to put them on, but the excess links kept on hitting something under the van which was annoying cause it was loud. so we took them off again. =P when we passed a certain area, we were told to put the chains on up to a certain point. so we exited and tried to put the chains on again. when my dad checked under the van, brake fluid was leaking. we had to call for a cab which took us to the rent a car place. my parents ended up getting a 4 runner so we didn't have to worry about chains going home. by the time we got to reno, it was around 2 or 3pm. we (the kids and i) played at circus circus, watched a few shows and met my mom to eat dinner at the eldorado buffet. maddie ate sooo much. she had spinach ravioli, tuna, eggplant pomodoro, a little ice-cream, a little cake...pretty much whatever we were eating. we left the hotel around 8:30pm and got home 4 hours later.

oh...while waiting for the cab, we played in the snow. maddie didn't seem to like it much. i let her stand in the snow, but she didn't wanna move. the snow was thigh high on her. =P she just stood there and watched mick and me have a snowball fight. =P when we got back in the van, she brushed off all the snow on my jacket. hahaha. she looked annoyed when she was brushing the ice off of me. Ü while she took a nap, my dad placed a big snowball near her. she was nr (no reaction). after a minute though, she turned away from the snowball and continued to sleep. =P here's an edited clip of our trip. whenever i find the time, i'll make the video better. =P i'll post pictures tomorrow. i still wanna edit them. =P i'll try to edit them tonight before and after heroes. Ü

thursday
i finished fixing the computer room and i filed all my bills, statements, etc. Ü i even setup a network between the two desktops. Ü i'm proud to announce that all my pictures are now on the new desktop and most of the programs i use are installed. Ü i didn't watch ugly betty or grey's that night since they were both replays. Ü

friday
after picking up mick, we went with my mom to hayward to get mick's measurements for a tux. he's gonna be in my cousin's wedding next saturday. Ü it took us an hour to get there during rush hour and the lady only took 5 minutes to get his measurement. =P then we went with my mom to the mall so she could get some presents for her organization's christmas party. after an hour, mick, maddie and i headed to the car and waited for my mom there. too many people, didn't have a stroller, got no money, so why bother attitude. =P bah, humbug!

...and today
we went to adriana's 5th birthday party at build-a-bear. Ü we left a bit early since i knew parking would be a problem. the invitation said 2:30pm, so we were parked and in the mall by 2:10pm. when i saw my cousin, she told us that the party was really at 3pm and that she put 2:30pm so people would be on time. =P sneaky! hahaha. after making a bear, the party headed to cpk for dinner. Ü since we were in the area, we decided to visit schroeder. Ü he's soooo adorable! after playing with him, i was tempted to buy his sister. hahaha. maddie had a blast playing with him. he would jump up and lick her face. =P she would push him away while smiling and laughing. she would even squeeze his face...and tail (whenever she got a hold of it). =P he's such an energetic and hyper puppy that he'd knock her down whenever he jumped on her. she'd cry for 3 seconds then stop as soon as she stood up again. Ü

oh...maddie has a slight cold. she had it since thursday. hopefully it goes away soon. anyways, gotta sleep. we're goin somewhere tomorrow. Ü it's a secret til i post pictures. =P i'll leave you guys with these pics for now...

arrrggghhh! talk about busy! this is probably the longest i've gone without posting a thing. here's what we've been up to since monday:

monday
actually, i don't remember what happened monday. hahahaha. i'm getting oooold. ahhh...now i remember. Ü when i picked up mick in the afternoon, i also picked up my two cousins. i brought them to their dentist appointment and waited for my aunt since they carpool with her. then maddie, mick and i went to the bank. i fell asleep early that night and even missed the first 5-10 minutes of heroes. guess i'll watch that online later.

tuesday
this was my busiest day ever! i went to mick's school 4 times that day. the first time was in the morning to drop him off, again during his lunch period cause he forgot his sandwich for the second day in a row, third time to pick him up and fourth cause of his christmas play. when i got home after his lunch period, my dad was outside cleaning his van. i decided to vacuum the car for the first time while maddie walked around in the driveway. Ü while we were all outside, ups came with our new dell computer. Ü after picking up mick, i did some re-arranging in the computer room and totally messed up my mom's files. hahaha. by the time i was satisfied with my work, it as time to get ready for mick's play. maddie was pretty good through most of the performance. twenty minutes before it ended, she wanted milk. good thing i found parking right across the gym. by the time we went back in, the play was almost over. i took a few pictures of mick and his class, but since he was at the opposite end of the stage from where i was sitting, the pictures didn't turn out so good. =0( hopefully my cousin or uncle got better pics. by the time we got home, it was 9pm.

wednesday
mick's dismissal every wednesday is 12:45pm. so i had to hurry up and set up the computer. talk about exciting! Ü i tried to clean up as much as i could, but the room's still a mess. by the time i set up the new comp and installed the printer, we had to leave to pick up mick. we ended up meeting santi's pilot friend in san mateo. we took him out to eat at armadillo willy's since i was starving. i totally forgot to eat cause i was sooo excited with the new computer. =P after eating, we walked around toys r us and brought him back to the hotel. i thought we'd be going straight home after, but we ended up going to my mom's office since she had to pick something up. as soon as we got home, i started installing software onto the new computer. i also called santi to tell him that i sent stuff and found out that he was on his way to bicol? or something? bwahahaha. haven't logged in for a couple of days so i haven't been able to chat with him. supposedly, he left me messages on ym, but i didn't get any. *sigh* oh well. he'll be back friday night or something?

as for today, i'm planning to fix the computer room and have everything installed into the new computer by 8pm tonight. =P yes...i'm giving myself a deadline. it's ugly betty and grey's. hahaha. but if ever i miss both shows, i'll just watch it online tomorrow. at least the new computer is super fast so the picture quality would be better than the old one. Ü i'll try to post pictures from the past couple of days later. Ü ta ta for now. Ü

the baby is now 15 months and i think it's time to enroll her in a swimming class. Ü we went to a birthday party yesterday and she loved it in the indoor pool. Ü whenever she did come out of the water, she ate whatever was on the table. =P after 5 minutes, she was back in the water again.


hmmm...what can i say about this lil' girl? she's starting to become a brat...which i hope she outgrows. =P she whines til she gets her way and she beats her brother up whenever he annoys her. Ü yet, she's very helpful. she loves to sweep and vacuum. Ü she even wipes her high chair tray whenever it's wet. Ü she also helps me by loading and unloading the washer and dryer whenever i do the laundry. and recently, i taught her how to throw away her own diapers in the diaper pail. hahaha. she says lotsa things now, but you can't understand most of it. Ü she likes saying thank you, uh oh and baby. she says honk honk whenever she squeezes her nose. she loves to sing, especially the barney theme song. oh...and she reaches for everything on top of the table since she's tall enough now. she runs after anyone she knows is leaving the house and she gets jealous whenever mick hugs me or my mom. Ü

whoa! can't believe it's already december! almost the end of one year and the start of a new one...and santi's still not here. =0( we miss you sweetie! mom...taxes...please?!?!?!?

well...if you look to the right, i've added an mp3 player. i know it's annoying sometimes when you find a page and loud music starts to play without warning. Ü so, if you ever feel like listening to something, just hit the play button. the first song usually reflects how i'm feeling at the moment. i have a feeling i'll be updating the first song frequently. Ü

it's been a crabby day...crabby for the kids at least. i've been biting their heads off the whole day. i guess i just need a break. =0( sorry sants, mick and maddie. mom, hurry up and finish your taxes please. before this year ends. anyways, maddie's lower tooth finally broke her gums which is probably why she's been acting weird lately. thank goodness it's friday tomorrow. *sigh* what a long week!

yesterday, we ended up going to the mall with my mom. after, we waited for her at work then went straight to trader joe's. i was sooo disappointed the whole day yesterday. i'm never going to cpk again! they don't serve peking duck pizza anymore. =0( then, at trader joe's, the teriyaki chicken wings and orange chicken we always get weren't there. grrr...i have no idea if they discontinued it or if they were just outta stock. *sigh*

mick came home with good grades on monday. Ü so today, he gets to play on his laptop after finishing his homework. my mom got him two pc games when we went to fry's...one's chess and other is a dino park sim game. Ü oh...and camille's getting a new puppy! Ü guess schroeder's arriving sometime next week? Ü isn't he cute?!?! he's a beagle/basset hound pup. Ü

awww...don't they look cute?!?! Ü as for today, i was busy re-arranging the room. i'm still not done sorting and filing paperwork. =0( guess i'll have to do that tomorrow or thursday. mick's half day tomorrow which means it's our library day. i renewed two of my books online and i dropped off the rest earlier since they're due tomorrow. Ü i was scared i might forget them if i waited til tomorrow. Ü

there are times that i forget my camera, so i end up taking pictures using my phone. here are a couple that i took last month. Ü

i did it! i fixed the computer! Ü we went to fry's earlier and bought a power supply unit for the comp. Ü and i ordered a dell computer this morning! Ü it'll arrive in 2 weeks. Ü at least...as soon as we get that, we don't have to upgrade for another 7-8 years. hahaha! this past week, i baked, sewed and installed a new power supply. Ü

i baked brownies with peanut butter swirls on thanskgiving, made something for maddie using a singer handy stitch (we don't have a sewing machine) and now i'm surfing the net for a new desktop. last night, i smelled something burning so i turned off the computer. when i woke up today and turned it on, i heard a click and smelled something burning again. i unplugged everything, opened up the cpu and didn't find anything wrong. when i tried turning it back on, it wouldn't. =0( oh well. that thing was 6 years old. time for a new one.

when we woke up today, we watched the macy's thanksgiving day parade and the purina national dog show on tv. then, for dinner, we went to my cousin's house. instead of an american thanksgiving dinner like last year (turkey, cranberry sauce, potatoes, pumpkin pie, etc), we had a filipino one with lechon, honey baked ham, lumpiang shanghai, oysters, roast beef with mushroom gravy and rice. Ü forgot what else there was since all i had was rice, ham, lumpiang shanghai and turon. Ü anyways, hope you all had a happy thanksgiving! Ü

i soooo wanna watch the pursuit of happyness! thanks to oprah, i wanted to watch it even more! Ü will smith's son, jaden, is soooooo cute!

anyways, tomorrow's thanksgiving. Ü and the day after that is black friday! wooohoooo! i'm searching through ads right now trying to figure out what i want. Ü

this past week, maddie and i would take naps together. i stopped doing that a long time ago cause i would oversleep and forget to pick up mick. but lately, she has been taking a nap around 10am so i end up joining her. by the time we wake up, my soap's on, amc (all my children). Ü perfect!

today, my mom's office had a lunch thing for thanksgiving. they were asking me to bring maddie again so they could fuss over her. since we were taking a nap from 10am-12noon, i was too lazy to go. plus, it was aunt flow's second day and i didn't have any "heavy flow" tampons left. =0( after picking up mick, we went straight to target to get me a box of tampax pearls and some other stuff.

maddie woke up around 7am today. it would've been ok, but it's sunday. =0( i soooo wanted to sleep in a bit. by 11am, she was getting a bit cranky, so i made her take a nap. i ended up sleeping too. Ü my mom woke us up around 1pm and told us to start getting ready. i totally forgot about her co-worker's daughter's baptism. maddie was acting weird at the party. one minute she's fine and smiling, then the next she was cranky and whiney. oh well...the photographer seemed to think she was adorable since he kept on taking lotsa pics of her and we're not even related to the celebrant! Ü

poor morales...poor, poor morales. swear...it totally looked like he wanted to cry before he shook his head in defeat. *sigh* oh well...congrats manny! Ü

yesterday and today were busy days for me. i had to deposit money for santi at the bpi remittance center yesterday, and i thought they accepted checks. but did they...nope! so i had to go to b of a to withdraw then go back to bpi. since maddie was with me, i had to take her outta her car seat, put her back in for 5 minutes, take her out again, etc. good thing i called my aunt and asked her to watch mick just in case i was late. Ü i got to sjb by 3:05. not bad. Ü just a mere 5 minutes. Ü after 30 mintues at home, we left again to pick up my dad's van at my cousin's house. we convoyed back home and switched cars to pick up my glasses at costco and pick up my mom. as soon as we got home, my parents and mick ate dinner and left to go watch casino royale. they ended up going home around 9pm cause they couldn't get tickets since it was sold out everywhere.

then today, i went to bev's bachelorette lunch. Ü i left maddie and mick with my dad since my mom also had to go somewhere. Ü my dad babysitting...that's a first! hahaha! Ü guess i'll continue my search for german shepherd puppies. =0( my dad thinks 6 months is too old, but i totally want addie! if she's still available next week, i think i'll get addie if the rescue will let me adopt her. Ü

whatta day! it's been a while since my mom watched maddie in the morning. right after dropping off mick, i went straight to the grocery. after that, i went to the bank to deposit a couple of checks and then went to the gas station to fill up my tank. while waiting for mick's dismissal, i cleaned the room...finally! i packed up maddie's bouncer/exersaucer, folded all the laundry and stored maddie's small clothes. by the time i was done, it was time to pick up mick. Ü when he got in the car, he said he had a copy of the newspaper he was in. as soon as we got home, we baked some brownies. my little man's in the newspaper for helping with the thanksgiving food drive, so of course i rewarded him with brownies and vanilla ice cream. Ü then, when my dad came home from work, he had a gift for maddie. Ü a rocking horse! Ü since mick's too big for something like that, my dad said he'll take mick to watch casino royale tomorrow. Ü

emmitt and cheryl won! wooohooo! Ü that's cheryl's second win in a row! Ü

anyways, ever since the webcam came, we've been running late in the morning. good thing mick hasn't been late yet. Ü here's how my screen looks most of the time now...

after going to two circuit citys today, i finally got a webcam. for some reason, the product information online is totally different from the one i bought. instead of the sfx, i got the stx at the store. guess it's a typo. Ü the requirements on the box of the stx scared me though. our cpu is waaay slower than the recommended. so before leaving the store, i made sure i could return it if i needed to. good thing it works. yesterday, we did absolutely nothing special. Ü but today, mick and maddie got their flu shot. mick went first and did his "mommy, hold my hand" thing. when it was maddie's turn, i pinned down her upper body while the nurse held her legs. i was shocked at her reaction...a 2 second whine and that was it! no tears, no crying...nothing. Ü all she did was arch her eyebrows together in annoyance, let out a simple "ehhhh" and scratch her leg. Ü my two, brave babies! Ü i'm supposed to get a webcam, but it's been raining (which means it's traffic from 3-8pm) and it's cold...really cold. =0( i'll just get one tomorrow. can't wait to chat with you again, sweetie! Ü mick loves watching you make goofy faces. hahaha

we went to sjb's 20th anniversary alumni dinner earlier. only 3 of us represented class of 1994. =0( oh well...it was still nice to see all the teachers and familiar faces. mick was busy playing which meant he only has a few pics with me and maddie. as for maddie...she was such a handful. thanks narciso for running after her most of the time. Ü see...i put a boo pic for you. hehehe. Ü they look the same only cause of their pigtails. Ü

~ a couple of days ago (8 november 2006 to be exact), mick asked me, "when do i tell a girl i like her?" here are a few answers to that question...

i dropped off my mom at work and had lunch there since there were birthday celebrants. Ü everyone was fussing over maddie and how adorable she is. Ü after that, we stopped by my cousin's house to drop off his mail, picked up mick and went to the bank. Ü ok...ugly betty's starting now. Ü

didn't get to post yesterday cause i was too busy thinking about a new puppy. Ü my dad, maddie and i checked out 3 german shepherd puppies. when i called about them the night before, the female was still available. when we got there, the owner informed us that the female was sold after i called. =0( but the 3 pups left were adorable. they were a bit darker than i would've liked, but they were happy, friendly pups. i'd rather get a female though, so we didn't bother to make an offer. when we got there, maddie was asleep. i was trying to wake her up, but when she finally did, we were about to go. she opened her eyes and immediately made her tongue clicking noise that meant she wanted the puppies to come to her. Ü as soon as i put her back into her car seat, she fell asleep again. hahaha.

after checking out the dogs, we went to the dentist. i wanted her to check out maddie's two lower teeth cause a stain appeared last month. the dentist said it's just a stain. she polished it, but the stain's still there. she couldn't polish them that well cause maddie was crying and trying to squirm outta my hug. Ü i thought i forgot my camera, but it was in the car. =0( maddie's 1st time at the dentist and i didn't take any pics. =0( *sigh* as soon as she was done wiping maddie's teeth with gauze, we picked up mick and headed to costco. Ü thanks sweetie for the anniversary gift. i finally used it to buy glasses. Ü not just any glasses...titanium flexible frames with transition lenses. Ü can't wait to pick them up in a couple weeks. Ü thanks again sants! Ü

we ended up going to my mom's office to drop her off for a couple hours. while she was at work, my dad went to the mall while we stayed in the car. Ü mick was a bit too dirty (pizza stains on his p.e. shirt, dirty p.e. sweats, etc.) to be malling. when my dad got back, he had on a new pair of white rubber shoes. hahaha. Ü then he brought us to rite-aid for ice cream. i remember when he would bring me and my sisters to thrifty (rite-aid now) for ice cream too a looong time ago.

as for today, i left maddie at home while i picked up mick since she was taking a nap. Ü mick and i ended up going to the library to pick up some books. i was supposed to get a couple books on german shepherds, but they were out. =0( mick got a drawing book, a dvd and a ps2 game. he's playing it now as i type. Ü he'll only get to play for an hour since it's a school day. Ü ok...back to my german shepherd research. Ü

we, my sisters and i, were supposed to get my dad a new convection oven a loooong time ago. the one we had was old and it was missing the crumb tray. on father's day, camille printed out two choices. we went to numerous stores to try and find one, but the models we wanted were only found online. i finally ordered one last week. Ü better late than never, right? Ü as soon as it arrived today, i took it outta the box and popped in a frozen pizza. Ü i was excited to try it out. our old one would've cooked the pizza in 11 minutes...our new one cooks it in half the time. Ü our old one was noisy while this one was quiet. Ü i love it already! can't wait to bake stuff in it. Ü

maddie finally got to wear her cowboy boots today. Ü my aunt had a party for her birthday which meant that there was lechon...everyone's favorite. Ü maddie fell asleep on the way home with a cookie in her hand...and she's still sleeping right now in her car seat. hahaha. Ü

miss cutie patootie is such a character! Ü she kisses everyone and doesn't mind showing off her tricks. Ü she smiles more and cries less. she talks gibberish all the time. she takes only two naps a day. she sleeps by 8pm...sometimes 9pm. she knows how to make bola and how to get out of a scolding. she can now wear pigtails, yet she eventually pulls them out. Ü she knows how to ask for a toy that she sees on t.v. *sigh* she walks where she wants to walk...not where i want her to. she screams bloody murder when i pick her up and carry her whenever we're at the mall. she loves it when i place my wedding ring on her finger. she loves to hug stuffed animals and dolls and pillows. Ü she steals the mouse and pretends she's using it. oh...and she started hiding stuff recently. she hid the remote which i looked high and low for but couldn't find for at least 2-3 days. then one day, she walked outta the computer room and came back in and all of a sudden the tv turned off. she had the remote in her hands. *sigh* hope she doesn't hide things anymore. her hiding place is too hard to find. Ü

we, my parents, maddie and i, went to my grandma's house earlier. after, we picked up mick and headed to the mall. we ate at the food court and window shopped a bit. Ü maddie had a blast in the toy store. Ü

arrrggghhh! i gotta watch ugly betty's and grey's online tomorrow. i wasn't able to watch the entire 2 hours cause my parents arrived around 8:20pm. Ü guess i'll watch those two and lost tomorrow afternoon. Ü

check out maddie's new 'do! Ü her outfit was a bit boyish, so i had to do something with her hair. Ü isn't she adorable?!?! Ü
ok...gonna go play cake mania thanks to jill. Ü hehehe. i'm at the circus stage. Ü

arrrggghhh...i can't believe i fell asleep during lost earlier. *sigh* guess i'll have to watch it online tomorrow. i should've stayed asleep...now i'm up late cause i'm wide awake...plus, i had to edit yesterday's post. i was too tired to finish it last night and i couldn't finish it earlier cause mick was half day and we had to pick up ces from the train station to take her to her ortho appointment and take her back to the station. *sigh* guess i'll try to go to bed now. Ü oh, my parents aren't extending. yehey! Ü they're arriving tomorrow night. i can't wait! Ü

whatta loooooong and tiring, yet fun day! Ü we just got home from my cousin's place. we left the house around 12:15 pm earlier to pick up mick. his walk-a-thon at school was from 1-4pm, but we stayed til 2:30pm since all his pledges were flat rates, not per lap. Ü then we went to the mall to go trick-or-treating, but we were too early. hehehe...excited. Ü around 4pm, we started trick-or-treating and went around the whole mall. i was carrying maddie most of the time cause there were sooo many people. whenever i let her walk, she'd go the wrong way and she wouldn't let me hold her hand. Ü oh well...guess that's my exercise for the next 3 months. hahaha. my arms are soooo sore now.

we finished the whole mall by 5:30pm, so i registered the kids for the costume contest. Ü guess who won?!?!? Ü mick, the thing from fantastic 4, won the funniest category for his age group, 5-8 year olds. Ü he won the funniest category cause he was being goofy while he danced toward the judges' table. hahaha. he told me he won cause he's the class clown and he loves it. Ü he received a tv20 gym bag, a dvd, a shirt and more. Ü after, we stopped by my cousin's place for a while before heading home since he lives 2 minutes away from the mall. Ü maddie was sooooo tired (she was awake from 1-8pm) that she fell asleep on the way home. Ü

we went to the grocery after picking up mick. holey moley...boy was it busy! took me 10 minutes to find somewhere to park. arrrrgggghhh! and the weather...it's getting colder and colder every day! *sigh* christmas is approaching...and fast! wonder if santi will be here by then? =0(

anyways, i took this video earlier of my secretary, miss cutie patootie. Ü she already knows how to work the mouse. Ü if only i could teach her how to do my mom's work so i don't have to stress over it. Ü which reminds me...hey mom...are you guys extending or what? i tried calling earlier, but no one was picking up. =0( please don't extend...please...pretty please??? Ü

i was able to talk to my mom earlier and she said that they might extend! =0( told her "WHAT?!?!?! NO WAY!" bwahahaha. my mom's job is too stressful. guess my parents have been having fun. =0( hope they don't extend. Ü

i couldn't help but laugh when i saw maddie bobbing her head. i know...i'm mean...but it's hilarious watching people's head bob. Ü santi used to do that alot when we commuted to and from la salle by bus a loooooong time ago. Ü

someone's not feeling well today. =0( mick has a headache and a slight fever. =0( ever since he was little, you knew when he wasn't feeling well. he'd sleep most of the day. right now, both the kids are sleeping. hopefully he feels better soon.

yesterday, mick and i washed the car. Ü after that, i was soooo busy following up my mom's transactions...emailing, faxing, calling her clients, inputting data, etc. soooo busy in fact, that i even missed parts of ugly betty. =0( can't wait til you get home, mom! Ü 6 days left to go! Ü

we went to target after picking up mick. Ü had to get some wipes, snacks and cleaning supplies. i got a swiffer wetjet power mop. i had to get one after watching the commercial. hahaha. Ü it really works! Ü anyways, we ended up leaving target after 1½ hours. maddie was sooo tired from walking around that she fell asleep in the car and continued to sleep when i placed her on the bed. Ü i was planning to wash the car, but it was sooo windy earlier. plus...i got lazy. Ü guess i'll just wash it tomorrow?

oh...i went 5 days without taking any pictures so i decided to take some today. i keep on forgetting to bring the camera with me. Ü oh well. guess the 20+ pics taken today will make up for the previous 5 days. Ü oh...and i forgot to mention that maddie learned how to kiss correctly. Ü she puckers her lips and makes a fish face...she even makes the "mwah* sound. Ü she started doing that a couple of weeks ago. Ü she's also starting to do the "flying kiss" thing. Ü
